From Danya Pastuszek, special projects manager at the IRC refugee resettlement office in New York:

Once a month, volunteers from businesses around New York City donate time and expertise to work one-on-one with refugees, helping them to write resumes and cover letters, brainstorm answers to common interview questions, and talk about plans for finding jobs. Last Wednesday, 17 refugees came to IRC’s offices in midtown Manhattan for practical advice on looking for jobs, moving out of entry level positions, and balancing school and work.
