Pakistan: Build Back Better

Ronnie Saha The International Rescue Committee's Ronnie Saha recently returned from visiting IRC programs in Pakistan and Afghanistan with a delegation of IRC senior staff, board members and overseers.

The IRC has been working in Pakistan since 1980, assisting Afghan refugees who fled the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. IRC teams in Pakistan were able to respond within hours to the devestating October 2005 earthquake. They remain committed to helping Pakistani communities 'build back better' and Afghan refugees return home.

This was Ronnie's first time visiting IRC field sites. He blogged the trip and you'll find his posts here, Google Mapped along his route.
